Silsila E Aliyah

The story of the Silsila e Aliya Naqeebiya begins with its founder, Hazoor Naqeeb-ul-Awliya, Hazrat Khawaja Faqeer Sufi Muhammad Naqeeb Ullah Shah (Rahmatullah Alayh), whose blessed birth took place on 5 January 1895 in the serene valley of Battal Sharif, District Mansehra, in present-day Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He was born into a household already perfumed with spiritual fragrance. His grandfather, Hazrat Mir Abdullah Shah, was a khalifa of the renowned Pir Baba of Buner Sharif, and his father had taken bay’ah at Mohra Sharif. He inherited devotion the way others inherit wealth, and from his earliest years, his blessed heart inclined toward the remembrance of Allah ﷻ. Yet it was not lineage alone that raised him to such heights — it was his complete surrender at the feet of a perfect master, Khwaja Hassan Sarkar, under whose guidance he underwent years of spiritual striving (mujahada) before being honoured with khilafat.

Directed by his murshid’s instruction, he left Quetta and turned toward Kasur. In 1962, in an act of pure submission, he settled in a humble village called Bhalo — a village transformed forever by his blessed presence and renamed Naqeeb Abad Sharif, the place from which the journey of the Naqeebiya silsila continues to flow to this day.
